The Faculty of Management and Development Studies (FMDS) of the UP Open University (UPOU) invites you to the next Let’s Talk It Over (LTIO) hybrid webinar: “#MakeClimateAConversation: Integrating Social Work, Gender Justice, and Climate Talk”.
Organized with Bard Graduate Programs in Sustainability, Worldwide Teach-In (WWTI) Philippines, and Youth for Active Citizenship and Leadership (YACAL) Pilipinas, the event highlights how social work, gender perspectives, and youth engagement can strengthen climate justice and environmental action. The webinar is also held in partnership with the UPOU Office of Gender Concerns (OGC) in observance of National Women’s Month, World Social Work Day, and Worldwide Climate Justice and Education Month.
The event will also feature the official launch of the Gender Sensitivity Training (GST) Microcredential, part of the Gender and Development (GAD) Microcredentials Series, advancing UPOU’s commitment to accessible learning for gender equality and climate-responsive leadership.
